Summer

6 Aug

I spent a chunk of my Summer at Civitella Ranieri, where I wrote and was lucky enough to have wonderful writers and artists and musicians for company.

Afterwards, I went to Paris, where I met with my sister, whom I was supposed to see in Ramallah back in March (Israel cock-blocked me).

Together, my sister and I went to Amsterdam, where we did what people who go to Amsterdam do, and walked around in a constant state of awe and giggles.

Excited about my new writing projects. The best thing about a Summer like this is the charge it gives; one’s job, if one is in academia, is to take the charge and run with it for the rest of the year.
