Recently I've been loving these:

Isaac Babel, Collected Stories

Aunt Dan and Lemon, Wallace Shawn

The Fire Next Time, James Baldwin

The Light Around the Body, Robert Bly

Randell Jarrell's The Complete Poems

I would have put To the Lighthouse, Disgrace, and Ficciones in the past, but somehow I haven't been feeling them. I read them and hear the voice of Borges or Woolf but not the story. It'll go away after a while, but I wonder if this is a problem only I have?
